The scholarship is initiated by the government of West Bengal for helping SC, ST, OBC, and poor students in the year 2024 on an agenda, termed as Oasis China scholarship. The Backward Class Welfare Department along with the Tribe Development Department of Kolkata have started to invite applications regarding the Oasis Scholarship 2024. The Scholarship applying last date has been increased to 31st October 2024. The main purpose is to enable deserving students to take up studies without costs. Students should have passed the 10th standard and now be under studies from the 11th standard up to postgraduate level. Students whose family income is less than ₹2.5 lakh per annum will be eligible. The scholarship includes various types of financial assistance on an Annual Stipend basis, Hostellers, and Day Borders.

Apply for the Oasis Scholarship for 2024-25
Follow some steps using the online application method:
- First, open the official website oasis.gov.in, and after the page opens, touch that link – “Students Registration” present just adjacent to the student corner. Again, it will prompt with another of its own new page. Enter your caste certificate number, Issuing Date, and fill up the captcha.
